MIRADA QUINCEAÑERA
EXPO 2012
For the first time ever Mirada Magazine created a contest for Mirada Miss Cover Girl. This contest was created to provide young girls between the ages of 14 and 16 to fulfill her dreams of becoming a model. The contest included basic training in modeling, etiquette, glamour, presentation, public speaking and congeniality.
Eighteen beautiful hopefuls entered this contest with outstanding dedication, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

We were supported in our endeavor by our distinguished panel of judges: Dr. Ricardo Pineda, General Consul of Mexico in Boise, Ivan Rodriguez, Director of Marketing for La Poderosa 100.7 FM in Nampa, and Janie Aguilar, Manager of the Cleveland Events Center in Caldwell. These professionals had the difficult task of sorting through the pool of contestants to find the one that most exemplifies the best of our Latino youth.
The contestants were judged on Beauty (15 points), Oral Expression (25 points), Poise & Runway (25 points) and Personal Character (35 points).
The winner was Miss Rosseli Guerrero who demonstrated to the judges that her beauty, poise, intelligence, academic achievements, aspirations and community involvement was worthy of the title Mirada Miss Cover Girl 2012.
Thank you to the contestants, their supportive friends and family and the community for making this event a successful experience for each and every young lady.
